As a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition with a clinical doctorate focused on functional nutrition and integrative wellness, Dr. Sharmelle Pittmon created Nutrelegant to help high-stress, high-responsibility women understand what their bodies may be communicating through stress, weight changes, blood sugar changes, hormone shifts, digestion concerns, cravings, fatigue, and depletion.

Her approach blends functional nutrition — looking for root contributors and supporting the body with targeted nourishment — with integrative wellness, including lifestyle, stress resilience, nervous system support, mental and emotional well-being, and practices that honor the whole person.

Before becoming a Doctor of Clinical Nutrition, Dr. Sharmelle spent more than two decades in the IT training and development industry as a corporate IT training consultant, entrepreneur, and business owner. She understands the pressure of high-responsibility careers because she lived it.

After losing both parents to chronic disease and recognizing that she was beginning to experience symptoms along a similar genetically predisposed path, she transformed her own health through nutrition, lifestyle, and integrative wellness practices. That experience became the catalyst for changing careers and dedicating her work to helping women understand the role that nourishment, nutrients, stress, lifestyle, and daily choices play in long-term health outcomes.
